Eel Unaten

I visited on a weekday after the holidays in May. While many stores were closed due to the holidays, I was relieved that they were open. I arrived around 1:00 pm, but I was guided smoothly and my food was served without much waiting time. Ordered Shirayaki, Liver Skewers, and Unajyu (Special) The skin was grilled crispy, fatty and very delicious. The restaurant has private rooms and is very relaxing. The staff were young but friendly and we had a great time.

I visited the store just after opening time on a weekday. There were several groups of customers. There was only one table and the rest was a private Japanese-style room. The private rooms are nice and relaxing, but the height is a bit high, so it might be a little inconvenient for children or those with mobility problems. I ordered the eel bowl, which is only available on weekdays. It's Kansai-style, but it's not crispy. It has a relatively fluffy texture, so I thought it would be unsatisfying for people who like Kansai style. There has been a price increase since July 2023, but I don't think it is out of line with the market price around here. And the clerk. He was cheerful and friendly, which was great.

Since I was out in Hamamatsu, I decided to try eel for lunch after searching for it on Google.I chose this restaurant because I like Kansai-style food. There was a little too much sauce on my plate and it felt salty, but my companion didn't think so...I think there are individual differences.
